  • What are the advantages of a frameless shower door?

A frameless shower enclosure is aesthetically superior to any other shower solution, increasing the value of your home. A frameless shower door lasts much longer than a framed shower door and eliminates ugly thick metal framing. Frameless shower doors are the easiest of any shower door to clean. By eliminating the bulky shower door framing, only glass and minimal perimeter support remain, which can be easily cleaned to “like new” condition using a rubber squeegee.

  • What is the estimated timeline for the installation process?

Installation of a glass shower enclosure typically takes from one to three weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and any delays. Ask your installer for an estimated timeline.

  • How should I maintain and clean my glass shower enclosure?

Maintaining the pristine look of your enclosure is easy – with the right care. Ask your installer for cleaning tips and recommended products to keep the glass looking sparkling and new.

  • How will you ensure a watertight and secure installation to prevent leaks?

Preventing leaks is crucial to protecting your bathroom from water damage. A skilled installer will use high-quality seals, gaskets, and precision installation techniques to ensure a watertight fit.

  • Can you help me select a glass enclosure design that best complements my bathroom?

We are experienced in matching glass enclosure designs to various bathroom styles. So, they can help you choose a design that perfectly complements your bathroom’s aesthetic, whether it is a modern, traditional, or eclectic space.

  • Does a frameless shower enclosure leak?

All frameless shower doors and enclosures are designed to deflect water, not retain it. Simply put, a frameless shower door has no frame. High water pressure, body sprays, incorrect placement of shower heads, and improperly pitched curbs or sills, can cause leaking near the door but not near stationary glass panels which are sealed and watertight.

  • How thick is the glass used in a frameless shower door and/or enclosure?

The thinnest glass we use for all of our frameless shower doors and enclosures is 3/8” thick. Some of the textured glass we offer only comes 3/8” thick. We also use ½” thick glass. We sometimes recommend this heavier ½” glass on larger enclosures or for certain configurations for the mere reasons of rigidity and safety.

  • How soon can you install my door?

Stock doors can be installed as quickly as 1 week from receiving an order, while custom enclosures generally take 3 to 5 weeks. In some cases, lead time can be increased due to custom finishes or the complexity of the enclosure.

  • How much time does the shower door installation itself actually take?

Most shower doors take only an hour or two to install. Larger full-size frameless shower enclosures and/or steam enclosures usually take no more than a day to install.
